HFM Trading Analysis: A Deep Dive into Account Tiers and Platform Capabilities
investingLive has published an updated review of HFM, formerly HotForex, breaking down account types, platform support, and fee structure for retail and copy-trading clients.

The audit covers the broker's MT4 and MT5 deployments across web and mobile. It lands at a moment when competing retail CFD brokers are actively expanding instrument depth and trading-hour coverage.
Platform stack
HFM runs MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Web terminal plus mobile. No proprietary front end. No documented REST or WebSocket API beyond the standard MT integration layer. Order routing, DOM depth, and the charting stack are inherited directly from the MT client build. Execution policy, slippage behavior, and requote handling are broker-side, but the published review snippet does not surface per-symbol latency benchmarks.
Account matrix
Seven configurations flagged: InfinityX, Cent, Zero, Pro, Premium, swap-free (Islamic), and Copy Trading. Zero and Pro tiers typically map to raw-spread plus commission pricing. Premium usually operates on a commission-free spread markup. Copy Trading is a distinct account tier, not a module overlay on existing accounts. Per-tier minimum deposits, commission rates, and swap parameters were not included in the snippet.
Parallel moves in the retail CFD space
The HFM review coincides with product pushes elsewhere. STARTRADER rolled out 30 U.S. stock and ETF CFDs on MT5 with 1:5 leverage, lot sizing from 0.1 to 1,000, and a 16:30–23:00 GMT+3 session. Coverage spans quantum computing (IONQ, QBTS, QUBT, ARQQ, QMCO), software infrastructure (ZS, S, RBRK, GTLB), space and defence (LUNR, PL, RCAT, BKSY), nuclear and energy (XE, NNE), AI and semiconductors (SERV, POET), and broader advanced-technology names. FOREX.com separately introduced overnight Japan Stock CFDs and Japan Stock CFD Knock-Out Options, trading through to 5:00 a.m. JST.
Verification points
Before funding an HFM account: request the full per-tier commission table, confirm Islamic account swap-free eligibility scope, and benchmark MT4/MT5 order-routing latency against your average lot size on the instruments you trade. Treat the copy-trading infrastructure as a separate evaluation axis — social feed latency and signal replication timing sit outside standard execution metrics.
