Helio Launches MT5 Alternative for Brokers with $2,950 Monthly Licensing Fee
Helio has opened broker evaluation of its MetaTrader 5 alternative, with monthly licensing set at $2,950 plus a one-time $6,500 implementation fee, according to a FinanceMagnates.com exclusive.

Founder and CEO Ahmad Said of Fintake confirmed to FinanceMagnates.com that web and mobile interfaces are code-complete, with first client trades expected in Q4 2026, pending broker rollout schedules. The product enters a category already occupied by MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, and Match-Trader, making the commercial model and execution stack the actual differentiators.
Commercial Model
Pricing is pegged to active accounts, not trading volume or revenue thresholds. $2,950/month covers the base license; $6,500 covers integration. One unnamed broker, described by Helio as a multi-asset group regulated across multiple jurisdictions, already routes live client flow through the Helio backend using its own branded front ends. A second relationship remains in pilot. No broker has yet deployed Helio's customer-facing web or mobile applications to end users.
Said told FinanceMagnates.com that the production client requested confidentiality; a joint announcement is under discussion, with a response expected by mid-September. FinanceMagnates.com noted it could not independently verify the live deployment or the pilot.
Interface Architecture
The desktop terminal reviewed by FinanceMagnates.com ships with charts, positions, orders, market depth, and a configurable order ticket. First-trade workflow: select market, enter size, hit the order button — no intermediate screens. TP/SL controls are optional. The order ticket surfaces leverage, required margin, estimated cost, tick value, and the price movement required to break even. Margin usage is displayed against available funds.
Chart panels are multi-window. Indicators load into separate panels. DOM ladder is present. Position controls cover protective orders, reversals, and size increases.
The mobile interface is a progressive web application. No app-store deployment required. Charting, DOM, order entry, and position management are included. Helio states that layouts sync between desktop and mobile sessions. FinanceMagnates.com tested the desktop terminal only; the mobile build was not independently reviewed.
Market Coverage and Gaps
Supported asset classes: FX, stock CFDs, crypto derivatives, perpetual futures. In development: prediction markets and spot crypto. The supported list covers most multi-asset broker demand, though the absence of spot crypto at launch is a gap for crypto-only operators.
Competitive Context
The MT5 / cTrader / DXtrade / Match-Trader tier all combine trading interface with broker administration and multi-device access; commercial and integration models diverge. Recent moves from incumbents: Devexperts shipped a DXtrade mobile web interface in July 2025; Spotware pushed cTrader Mobile to version 5.4 in June 2025, adding time-zone auto-adjust and chart theme updates. Helio also confirmed a built-and-tested TradingView integration for a broker served by both businesses.
For brokers running cross-border operations — teams accustomed to the friction of visa and entry logistics across multiple jurisdictions — the PWA route removes the app-store release cycle and one integration variable from the deployment timeline.
What to Track
- Mid-September: expected joint announcement naming the production broker.
- Q4 2026: first live client trades through Helio's web and mobile front ends.
- Spot crypto and prediction market rollout dates.
- Independent latency and execution benchmarks against MT5 and cTrader.
No hard launch date. Rollout cadence is broker-dependent.
